Tonight, the Charlotte Hornets are in Oregon taking on the Portland Trail Blazers. The game starts at 10 p.m. EST, which is typical of a west coast game.
The Blazers are an excellent team, and their record (4-3) doesn't indicate just how good they've been this season. Still, the Hornets match up fairly well with them, and with Nicolas Batum missing tonight's game, the Hornets have an excellent chance to grab an unlikely win against a Western Conference powerhouse.
After a rough loss to the Los Angeles Lakers a few days ago (which I'll take the blame for), it'd be nice to see the offense click and the defense lock down for a full 48 minutes. Whether or not the Hornets are capable of that remains to be seen.
