The NBA has finally made a decision on what to do with forward Jeff Taylor. The league suspended Taylor for 24 games without pay for pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge a few months back.
The 11 games Taylor has already missed while on paid leave from the Hornets are included in this total, so he will only miss 13 more games. He will have to forfeit 24 game salaries though, and will also have to complete a domestic violence intervention program, alcohol counseling, and community service.
Included below is Adam Silver's release.
According to a statement from the NBA, the incident came after both Taylor and the woman were heavily drinking.
NBA statement said Taylor and the woman were drinking heavily. Taylor shoved the woman into a hallway. She fell, hitting her head on door.
