The Charlotte Hornets are at home tonight taking on the Portland Trail Blazers, who are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now.
Out for the Hornets are Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Gary Neal, and P.J. Hairston has been activated. Hairston's shooting and size have been sorely missed, as the Hornets have essentially no reliable shooters or size at the 3 spot.
The Blazers are coming off of an eight-game winning streak, and show no signs of slowing down. Damian Lillard and Lamarcus Aldridge have been phenomenal this season, and the team as a whole has shown terrific chemistry. Clearly, the Blazers are not content with simply making the playoffs this season. They're hoping to get to the NBA Finals.
The Hornets just want a win. Their season is not what they'd hoped for, both a result of subpar play and unexpected injuries early in the year. Can they put it together and pull out a win against the Blazers?
Let's chat!
