After a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Pelicans last night, the Charlotte Hornets are in Miami tonight taking on the Heat.
There's truly little to take from last night's game, and I'm sure the team is just as eager to move forward as we are. The Hornets are experiencing growing pains right now, as the loss of Josh McRoberts and addition of Lance Stephenson has dramatically altered their offensive approach.
Speaking of McRoberts, this will be the big man's first game against his former team. Some expected him to start in Miami, but he's been coming off of the bench for the Heat and is averaging an underwhelming 1.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, and zero (!!) assists in only 8.3 minutes per game. However, the Heat haven't needed him to contribute any more than that. They have a solid record of 3-1.
Fun facts to chat about before the game tips off: Kemba Walker is shooting 32.2 percent from the field so far this season, and Lance Stephenson is shooting 27.3 percent from the field. Um, what?
Let's chat!
