Quickcap: Hornets defeat Hawks 122-119 in double overtime

LANCE STEPHENSON HIT THE GAME WINNER, BUT DID HE CALL BANK!?

STEPHENSON GAME WINNER

Tonight's game went into Double Overtime and the Hornets played some more solid defense, holding the Atlanta Hawks to 46% shooting from the field.

DID HE CALL BANK THO!?

Al Jefferson dominated, going 15-24 from the field with 34 points.

STEPHENSONNNNNNN

Not to be outdone, Al Horford had a pretty good game himself going 11-16, scoring 24 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. The Jefferson-Horford duel was another factor in a very fun game.

BUT SERIOUSLY. LANCE STEPHENSON.

Gary Neal had another great game, shooting 3-5 from three point range, and shooting NINE free throws. For a guard usually known for putting up shots, him getting free throws like that is pretty rare.

DID YOU KNOW HE HIT A GAME WINNER?

Part of the reason he shot as many free throws as he did might have been because of the...well..."questionable" officiating. There were 63 fouls called in the game. Even in Double OT, that is an insanely high amount. Neither side, fans, or players, were very happy with them tonight. Especially the Hawks, who were rightfully livid after the moving screen call that allowed the Hornets a chance at the last shot of the game.

EXCEPT LANCE STEPHENSON WHO HIT A GAME WINNER
