10 game losing streak! Can we make it 11? YES. WE. CAN!

Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY Sports

Stop it. You stop it right now. I can see you right now, opening this game thread up with dreams and hope. No, the Charlotte Hornets have come to dash those hopes and dreams today. Their latest example of how to crush a dream, the lowly New York Knicks.

A battle of horrible basketball awaits us! Who's incompetence will reign supreme, a team that can't hold a lead for its life, or one having their worst start in franchise history. A team that has shown that even with the schedule favoring them, they still can't pull out a win, or one that you should never trust on a road back to back. Yes, despite every reason it shouldn't be, this game is an evenly matched game.

On the positive side, there will be highlights. The Knicks have Carmelo Anthony and there's always the potential for him to do something incredible. The Hornets meanwhile have been a highlight machine this year. Between Lance Stephenson becoming a walking meme, Kemba Walker cross over, Bismack Biyombo blocks, and Cody Zeller dunks, the Hornets are at least fun to watch. That is until they implode, then they're not so fun, but man are those fun moments great.

So sit down, have a beverage, maybe eat a little dinner, watch the Hornets, and have a nice little chat. Enjoy yourselves, and while you're enjoying everything going on around the game, maybe the Hornets will manage to snap this horrible losing streak. Anything is possible at this point.
