Tonight the Charlotte Hornets will take on a very stout Indiana Pacers team. While they've struggled this season, due to not having their star player in Paul George, the Pacers are still one of the toughest outs in the Eastern Conference. Frank Vogel is an excellent coach that always has his team ready to play, and Indiana's defense is still one of the best in the NBA thanks to having Roy Hibbert down low.
Meanwhile, the Hornets are coming in to tonight battered and licking their wounds. While they've been surging, without Al Jefferson, Charlotte is missing a key player to their success in Kemba Walker. Tonight, Walker is absent with knee soreness and that will leave him day to day. A lack of Walker and Jefferson is a heavy load for a Hornets team that just got Lance Stephenson back from injury earlier this week. Charlotte wanted to bring Stephenson back into the lineup slowly but the Walker injury might mess up those plans a bit. How Stephenson responds to a larger role will be a key factor into tonight's game.
All that aside, the Hornets have been playing well lately and it's not like the Hornets are knowing for blowing their opponents out of games. So sit back, relax, and try not to stress while we all chat Hornets.
