Cleveland Cavaliers at Charlotte Hornets Gamethread

No LeBron, no Al Jefferson? No problem.

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Hornets and Cavaliers meet tonight to start off the New Year. The Cavs will be looking to get out of a rough patch of the season while the Hornets are still trying to figure things out.

Both the Hornets and Cavs are suffering injuries to key players tonight with the Hornets missing their big man in Al Jefferson. Jefferson strained his groin and will be out for quite some time. The Hornets already played a game without him and it didn't go well to say the least.

The Cavs on the other hand are missing LeBron James, the best player in the NBA. While James hasn't been playing like it this season, it's hard to argue that losing him is a gigantic loss for the Cavs. It's one thing to lose your best player and it's another to lose the best player in the world.

The Hornets have a chance to start off 2015 with a win so lets see how that goes.
