The Charlotte Hornets are an inexplicable 6-0 this preseason.
They have a chance to extend their perfect record in their second last game of the preseason against the Detroit Pistons tonight. I don't know how they're undefeated. I don't. It's doubtful they're this good during the regular season, but let's ride this high, shall we?
The Pistons are rebuilding, but they're still a very dangerous team. Andre Drummond is primed for a breakout season, and Reggie Jackson proved late last year that he might just deserve the five-year, $80 million contract he received from Stan Van Gundy. They also have rookie Stanley Johnson, whom notoriously refused to work out for the Hornets prior to the 2015 NBA Draft.
Tonight's game won't be televised, but you can listen to it on WFNZ or the Hornets' app.
Here are tonight's projected starters:
Charlotte Hornets | Detroit Pistons | |
PG | Jeremy Lin | Reggie Jackson |
SG | Nicolas Batum | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope |
SF | Marvin Williams | Marcus Morris |
PF | Cody Zeller | Ersan Ilyasova |
C | Al Jefferson | Andre Drummond |
Remember, tonight's game tips off at 7:30 p.m.. Let's hop to the comments!
