Charlotte Hornets at Atlanta Hawks gamethread

The Hornets look to rebound against the Hawks and gain their first victory.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets are back on the road tonight in an unusually late 8 p.m. start time against the Atlanta Hawks. They're hoping to bounce back from their poor shooting in the first game against Miami. Perhaps things will be better for them now that those first game nerves are out of the way? They'll certainly have their hands full tonight with the Hawks looking to fire a flurry of 3-point shots all over the Hornets.

If there's one advantage the Hornets will have it's that the Hawks are playing on a back to back, but does it really count considering they just played the New York Knicks? I guess it kinda counts cause the Knicks are supposed to be better this year, but they beat them down so bad it's really hard to tell.

Time to sit down, have a drink, eat some food, and enjoy some Hornets basketball.
