Charlotte Hornets vs New York Knicks GameThread (11/11/15)

The Hornets hope to win their second game in a row, tonight against the Knicks at home.

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

After a rather unsurprising win against a shell of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Charlotte Hornets are back at it again. Tonight, they're playing the New York Knicks at home.

Both teams are on the second night of a back-to-back (SEGABABA), and both won last night on the road against their respective opponents.

I'm most excited to watch Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks' first round pick in the 2015 draft. Not only is he a reliable source of highlight plays, but he's also apparently very good. No, seriously. How he matches up with the Hornets' front line will be pretty interesting. Porzingis is a stretch big from Latvia, but he's anything but soft. Will Al Jefferson be able to bully him, or will Al get torched on the offensive end?

The Hornets have a single night off after tonight's game, and they're in the middle of a five-games-in-seven-nights stretch. So it wouldn't surprise me to see head coach Steve Clifford rest some players, especially if the game gets out of hand for either team.

I wonder if Jeremy Lin and Carmelo Anthony are on good terms.
