To ensure At The Hive makes the playoffs this season, we're looking to acquire the internet's top talent via free agency. Love the Hornets? Love writing? Let us know!

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Hello, At The Hive!

We're looking to add a few contributors to our staff, and there's no better place to look than our own community. We're proud to be the best Charlotte Hornets blog on the web, and we want your help to make it even better.

If you're reading this, I'm sure you love the Hornets. There's also a chance you regularly comment on our articles and GameThreads. Why not channel that energy and passion into great stories for a great platform?

What we're looking for

We're looking for passionate Hornets fans interested in sharing their unique takes on everything: games, trades, statistical trends, the culture of Hornets fandom and even the state of affairs within the Hornets organization. If you're interested in it, we're interested in hearing it.

Our writers generally publish a couple of stories per week, but we work with your schedule as much as possible. We fully understand that most people live busy, complicated lives and the last thing we want is for you to treat this like another job you're not fully invested in. We want you to enjoy what you're doing.

You'll work with our fantastic team of editors –– Chris, Derek and myself –– to improve your writing in terms of clarity, quality, and focus. Every article that goes up on At The Hive goes through one of us, and we want nothing more than to help you be the best writer you can be.

Past At The Hive/Rufus On Fire alumni include David Arnott, Ben Swanson, Seerat Sohi, and Connor Huchton. We've been blessed with a fantastic cast of writers over the years, and our current lineup is nothing short of phenomenal either. We love the Hornets, and we take pride in providing the internet with the best Hornets coverage available.

What you need to do

Send an email to j.priemski at gmail dot com that includes a few things you've written (FanPosts and even school assignments are fine), and let me know why this is something you're interested in, and why you're the right person to join our team.

Easy, right? And hey, maybe writing's not your thing. If you think you can contribute to At The Hive in another way, let us know! We're always looking to add talented individuals to our staff. We love this site and want it to be the best it can be. Float your ideas to us, and we'll see if we can work something out.
