Hornets play the Knicks! Lets look forward to another fun one.

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets play the New York Knicks, and if this is anything like last game then we're in for a fun one. Last time involved a Cody Zeller go ahead basket, and a Kristaps Porzingis buzzer beater being waived off. Clearly the solution for Porzingis is to have smaller fingers.

Something to keep an eye on tonight will be how Steve Clifford handles his rotations without P.J. Hairston. The second year guard has spent all of this season in the starting lineup, but will be out tonight with injury. Taking his place will be Cody Zeller while the rest of the starting unit, besides Al Jefferson, slides down a spot.

At first, this seems like a good idea in general, because it gets Zeller back with the starters. The concern however has to do with the second unit. Zeller with the first unit is good, but when he's not playing with the bench then that means a lot of minutes with Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes on the floor together. Those two don't play particularly well together for long stretches so expect Clifford to get fancy with staggered lineups.

Projected starting lineups:

Charlotte Hornets

PG: Kemba Walker
SG: Nicolas Batum
SF: Marvin Williams
PF: Cody Zeller
C: Al Jefffeson

New York Knicks

PG: Jose Calderon
SG: Arron Afflalo
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Kristaps Porzingis
C: Robin Lopez
