Also per Bonnell, Zeller did not test positive for mono which is a little bit of good news.
According to @hornets coach Steve Clifford Zeller tested negative for mono.— Rick Bonnell (@rick_bonnell) November 2, 2015
Obviously due to the sudden weight loss, and medical tests, Zeller will be questionable for tomorrow's game against the Chicago Bulls. The report may say questionable, but it's a pretty safe bet that he won't be playing.

Zeller suddenly losing 10 pounds is a very serious matter, and right now what's most important is that he finds out what is ailing him so he can get healthy again. Something like this is nothing to be messed around with, and we wish him nothing but good health.
As for how this affects Charlotte from a basketball standpoint. Zeller is one of the Hornets key rotation big men, and losing him for an extended period of time would be a very serious blow. His versatility has been beneficial to success in the past, and any time missed will not go unnoticed.
Until Zeller is in good enough health to play, the Hornets will most likely look to Spencer Hawes and Frank Kaminsky to pick up the minutes for Zeller. This could also mean some more playing time for reserve big man Tyler Hansbrough. It will be interesting to see how these three play with increased roles.
Once Zeller is fit enough to play there should be a rotation spot waiting for him, but right now we're much more concerned about his long term health than when that return may be.
