There were a handful of changes to the Hornets' rotation tonight stemming from Cody Zeller and P.J. Hairston sitting this one out as they recover from injuries. Jeremy Lin will start at shooting guard alongside Kemba Walker, which also means that Nicolas Batum is sliding to what many consider his "natural" position (whatever that means), the small forward.
By the way, sorry we're a bit late on the GameThread tonight. Good thing we got it in before tip-off.
Anyway, with Lin graduating to the starting squad, Frank Kaminsky has an opportunity to prove himself. He'll likely see significant minutes tonight, especially if the Hornets put the Sixers away early. Oh, those poor, poor Sixers. Trust the process, right?
And if you haven't checked the site today, I recommend giving Derek's piece on Lamb's sudden development into a good, well-rounded player a read, as well as this heart-warming story of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist sharing that he was born a preemie. Perhaps at the half?
