It's a meme, guys.
The Charlotte Hornets are down in Florida this evening to play the Orlando Magic in a good ol' fashioned game of basketball. Win or lose, this game should be exciting as heck. Don't forget, the two teams split the series 2-2 last season, with each team winning on the opponent's home floor. Both teams are young, explosive, defense-first squads, too.
In other news, Hornets center Al Jefferson has been cleared to play, so instead he'll be sitting out tonight's game as he begins to serve his suspension. If Jefferson stays healthy and happy, he should be back on the floor Dec. 26 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Some pregame/halftime reading, perhaps? Eric Koreen of the National Post in Toronto spoke to Bismack Biyombo about meditation (yes, seriously), and that led to some interesting comments about his time in Charlotte. Miss you, Biz.
Anyway, grab your snacks and drinks and get to a TV. It's time for some Hornets basketball.
