Charlotte Hornets vs Los Angeles Clippers gamethread

New, comments

An injured Hornets group is taking on the Clippers tonight. This could get bad.

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Injuries have hit the Charlotte Hornets like a gigantic semi-truck speeding down the interstate. There they were just buzzing along minding their own business. All they wanted to do was shoot 3-pointers and collect honey in piece then BAM. Injuries all over the place. Al Jefferson is out. Jeremy Lin is out. Spencer Hawes is out. Nicolas Batum is questionable. Lets just say that everything is not well health wise.

Of course, the Clippers aren't a beacon of health either right now. Blake Griffin is out for an extended period of time with injury and this has left Chris Paul alone with DeAndre Jordan to carry the team. What's crazy however is that Paul has not only delivered, but brought Los Angeles above some previously disappointing play. They don't call him the point god for nothing.

This game had the potential to be a lot of fun, but now it might get pretty ugly. Lets hope it's the former.
