We all know the drill at this point. Playoffs are getting closer, the Hornets need wins to keep up with the playoffs, and they need other teams to lose. Charlotte has lost the ability to control their own destiny, but they can get that back by ripping off a few wins against teams like the Timberwolves.
One thing that's interesting about the Hornets this season is how streaky they've been all year. They go on losing streaks, then winning streaks, and then losing streaks. Sure, they break it up a little bit every once in awhile, but for the most part they've been streaky all year. Right now, they're in the middle of a losing streak which isn't a very good place to be when they're trying to make a playoff run. Perhaps a win tonight will turn things around?
Cody Zeller is questionable for tonight's game and honestly the Hornets might be better off not having him play. He didn't play well, or look like himself, in his return from injury the other night. He might still be healing and rushing that isn't a good idea when they need him to help them finish the year strong.
