Oh dear lord how are the Hornets not dead yet? After the performance that Charlotte put out there against the Wizards on Friday it's just stunning that Charlotte still has a chance to make the playoffs. Tonight's game against the Celtics begins a stretch of games that, if the Hornets can pull out wins, will help them make significant ground in the playoff standings. It's their easiest stretch of games remaining on their schedule, and they have to capitalize. If the Hornets don't start tonight with a win then it might be time to put a dagger through their playoff hopes.
Injury news! Cody Zeller will not play tonight after hopes that he would be making his return. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will be sitting as well. The Hornets haven't exactly played well this season and there's no denying that, but man the Hornets inability to stay healthy longer than five games has to have taken its toll.
Do or die time for the Hornets. They only have 10 games left. Better make them count.
