Charlotte Hornets at Detroit Pistons Gamethread

The Hornets and Pistons meet up for a Sunday evening matchup with playoff implications. The Hornets need to win tonight if they want to keep up with the Pacers and Heat for the 7th and 8th seeds in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Pistons are dangerously close to falling out of the playoff race all together. A win tonight will keep them on life support, and perhaps get them a little closer to getting back in the race.

The Hornets are still without Kemba Walker, but the rest of the roster is looking healthy and that's a positive sign. It's been a rough year for Charlotte and they appear to be healthy and peaking at the right time. However, they've been very streaky this year and always seem just on the cusp of a horrible losing streak, or a season changing winning streak.

The Pistons meanwhile will be looking to get new acquisition, Reggie Jackson, to start working well with Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe, and other Pistons key players.
