Charlotte Hornets at Detroit Pistons gamethread

The Hornets are eliminated, but that doesn't mean we can't still have fun!

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

Well the Hornets finally put everybody out of their misery and got themselves eliminated. The writing has been on the wall for awhile now, but at least we can finally make peace with what has become of the Hornets so we can begin our grieving.

Injury update! Lance Stephenson, Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are all once again OUT. Despite banging knees with Jeff Teague on Friday, Kemba Walker will play tonight. Personally, I think he should be shut down for the season, but if he wants to go then he's gonna go.

Sure the Hornets are eliminated, but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun! Noah Vonleh has been playing a lot lately and it's giving us a glimpse into the future and what he can become. Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have a fun young big man in Andre Drummond that is just a thrill to watch from a basketball perspective.

The games might not matter, but the show must go on.
