Charlotte Hornets vs Toronto Raptors gamethread

More injuries! Let this season die already.

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets take on the Toronto Raptors tonight. This was at one point a game on ESPN, but now it's not because this game has gone from being important and impacting the playoff standings to a horrible example of why the East is a horrible mess this season. It's a shame that the rest of the country won't get to see the awesome teal and purple that the Hornets brought back this season, at least not today, but that's what happens when you become a team that isn't fun to watch anymore....or when you have a ton of injuries.

Injury report! Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is out and reports everywhere are saying his season is likely done. This is just an awful way for him to finish a superb season, but hopefully he comes back next season even stronger. Cody Zeller is also out, as is Al Jefferson. There are so far no reports that they will be sitting the season, but at this point everybody is assuming they are. In a surprise scratch, Lance Stephenson will not be playing tonight due to injury. Cause you know, when we all said the Hornets couldn't possibly get any more injured they just had to prove us wrong.

Kill this season with fire.
