The past 24 hours have been quite hectic in Charlotte, to put it nicely.
After being rumored to be shopping Cody Zeller and looking to replace him with Frank Kaminsky, the Hornets traded Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh in exchange for young French playmaker Nicolas Batum, and then traded the newly acquired Matt Barnes for Jeremy Lamb.
Except then they didn't as reports came out saying the Hornets were actually trading away Barnes to bring back old friend Luke Ridnour.
Word on the street is that the Hornets are still close to bringing Lamb to Charlotte and reuniting him and Kemba Walker. It obviously just wouldn't be for Barnes.
So, after all this smoke settled, Sean Deveney of Sporting News reported that the team is far from done and that Rich Cho's phone line has been blowing up since the Batum trade.
"And as Hornets general manager Rich Cho said Wednesday night, sources tell Sporting News the Hornets probably are not be done. There had already been talk about Charlotte trading its No. 9 pick in tonight's draft, but after the trades, the Hornets were flooded with calls, the assumption being that the Hornets were looking to swap youth for better-known commodities."
To add to all of this insanity, Kaminsky is suddenly the hottest player in the draft, now rumored to be going as high as no. 4 to the Knicks.
2. Frank the Tank is on fire. Phil Jackson loves him. So does Vlade Divac. Michael Jordan won't pass on him at 9. 4-9 his new range.— Chad Ford (@chadfordinsider) June 25, 2015
