The Charlotte Hornets have been wheeling and dealing over the last 24 hours and it looks like it's not going to stop. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Charlotte Hornets will trade Matt Barnes to the Memphis Grizzlies for Luke Ridnour. Charlotte can then waive Ridnour's unguaranteed contract if they so choose.

Charlotte can waive Ridnour's non-guaranteed deal, but Grizzlies plan to keep Barnes in final year of his deal.

This deal is clearly a cap dump to try and get some room open for more trades, and to get Matt Barnes contract off the roster. What's weird though is last night Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reported that Barnes would be in a deal that netted the Hornets Jeremy Lamb, from Oklahoma City.
Obviously the details of how the Hornets will handle Matt Barnes contract hasn't fully shaken out yet. This could be a three team deal that sends Ridnour to OKC, or perhaps one of the two parties in OKC/Charlotte chose to cancel that trade late last night. Either way, Charlotte is clearly not done making deals.
