Entering tonight's match-up against the Denver Nuggets, the Charlotte Hornets are losers of six straight, and the injuries are adding up. While a number of Hornets have been worth selecting for Fanduel lineups, consider against selecting any of them for tonight, or in the upcoming games.
While there's a chance Nicolas Batum could be available against Denver, the odds go against him having a productive night. Even if his sprained toe is healthy enough to play on, he'll likely need time to get back into good form.
Kemba Walker has been the team's best fantasy player, but his strong run of play may be coming to an end. His 11 points against the Los Angeles Clippers, on 4-16 shooting, is far from the typical numbers he's been producing lately. The Clippers were intent on slowing down Walker, and Denver will likely do the same. Until Batum returns to share the brunt of scoring, be wary about including Walker unless he bounces back.
Finally, proceed with caution when selecting both Lin and Lamb. While Lin is coming off 26 points against the Clippers, he also re-injured his ankle, and is questionable against Denver. When healthy, Lin is a solid fantasy option, but his ankle leaves doubt as to how productive he will be for your lineup. Lamb is also coming off a strong game against the Clippers, scoring 18 points and collecting 13 rebounds. But Lamb hasn't shown consistency lately, having scored just two points against Phoenix, 22 against Golden State, but then only 9 versus Oklahoma City.
