Fandeul: Picks for January 31st, 2016

Even at his price tag, Stephen Curry is one of a few must-pick players for today's round of games.

Trying to decide who to pick for your Fanduel lineups today? Here are a few must-pick players, and a few on the fliers.

Stephen Curry ($11,100)

Yes, he's the most expensive player on the board, but he's been worth every bit of his price tag lately. He has put up 50 or more fantasy points in six of the last 10 games, and his lowest point total in that span was 37. He has a favorable matchup against the New York Knicks today, which makes his selection even more of a no-brainer.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($8,400)

After a 62.9 fantasy point outing against the Dallas Mavericks on January 20th, Towns has averaged 42.9 fantasy points a game. He's averaging a double-double in points and rebounds during that span, while adding assists and blocks to his tally as well. The one concern is his turnovers, but beyond that he should be a strong consideration today, especially with Hassan Whiteside question.

Dwyane Wade ($7,800)

After sitting out against Washington on January 20th, Wade has put up between 44 and 50 fantasy points in three of the four games since, averaging well over 20+ points a game. As an added bonus, he's registered three steals in each of the past two games.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ($5,500)

MKG isn't a must buy, but if you're running out of money, consider taking a chance on him. He's the main reason to be watching the Hornets right now, and he put up a solid performance in his first game back, with 13 points and seven rebounds. He played 33 minutes against Portland, so he'll have plenty of opportunities to rack up points, and against a favorable Los Angeles Lakers matchup, he could be a surprise pick.
