There are only three games left in the Charlotte Hornets' preseason. The team's had some time to experiment with new sets and lineups. It's around now that they should be looking to iron out the rotation and fine-tune their sets, and who better to do that against than the pastiche that is the Chicago Bulls.
Here's what you need to know about tonight's game:
What: Hornets at Bulls
When: Oct. 17, 2016 at 8:00 p.m.
Where: United Center, Chicago, IL
TV: NBATV
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
Projected Starters
Hornets | Position | Bulls |
Kemba Walker | PG | Rajon Rondo |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Dwyane Wade |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Jimmy Butler |
Marvin Williams | PF | Taj Gibson |
Roy Hibbert | C | Robin Lopez |
The Bulls are very talented, but there are concerns the team lacks the stylistic chemistry needed to compete. With Rondo, Wade, and Butler all being incredibly high usage players, it's difficult to project how the Bulls' season will play out. It's likely Wade takes a step back and focusing on opportunistic scoring -- which will help -- but the recent acquisition of Michael Carter-Williams is puzzling, as he's relatively similar to Rondo and nearly as ball dominant.
For the Hornets, expect to see Cody Zeller take the floor tonight.
