Locked on Hornets: What we liked and didn’t like in Dallas

The Hornets drop their first preseason game but we learned some things about this team along the way.

A good start offensively turned into a tough night overall for the Charlotte Hornets in their first preseason matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. In the first quarter they showed flashes of what could make them a deadly offensive team built on attacking the rim and crisp ball movement back to the perimeter. That offense gave way as the reserves started to filter in and the defense overall was a (expected) mess. We analyze the game and talk about some things we liked and didn’t like.
