Come one, come all.
The Charlotte Hornets play the Boston Celtics tonight after losing their first preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. And much like Monday's game, tonight's game won't be televised locally. But that doesn't mean you can't tune in. Here's what you need to know.
What: Hornets vs Celtics
When: Oct. 6, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, NC
TV: You can't watch locally, unfortunately.
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
Projected Starters
Hornets | Position | Celtics |
Kemba Walker | PG | Isaiah Thomas |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Avery Bradley |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Jae Crowder |
Marvin Williams | PF | Amir Johnson |
Roy Hibbert | C | Al Horford |
This will be Kemba's first game of the NBA preseason and by extension the first time we will see the Hornets' starting lineup before opening night, especially if Zeller's recovery is going as poorly as reports suggest. And what a team to test it out against.
The Celtics are mostly the same as last season, with one big exception -- Al Horford. The Celtics signed Horford away from the Atlanta Hawks over the summer, and on paper that match is utterly frightening. The Celtics play a fast but controlled game of basketball not too dissimilar from the way the Hawks played just a couple of seasons ago.
As always, please do not share links to watch tonight's game in the comments below. You are encouraged to share your observations and thoughts, however.
Gah, I can't wait to see what this lineup is all about.
