Charlotte Hornets at Minnesota Timberwolves GameThread

After losing to two of the Eastern Conference's best teams, the Hornets have an easier matchup against the Wolves tonight. Chat with other Hornets fans in the comments below!

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

Last week was a rough one for the Charlotte Hornets. They narrowly lost to the Toronto Raptors on Friday -- without Michael Kidd-Gilchrist -- and ultimately lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday after playing three solid quarters of basketball. Now, the Hornets have a much easier game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and hope to regain some of the momentum that propelled them to a 6-1 start this season.

And the Wolves, while developing, are uber talented. This should be a good one.

Here's what you need to know to tune in:

What: Hornets at Wolves
When: Nov. 15, 2016 at 8 p.m.
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: Fox Sports Southeast, NBA League Pass
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM

Save for Jeremy Lamb, the Hornets are perfectly healthy for tonight's game. For the Wolves, Zach LaVine and Shabazz Muhammad are listed as questionable.

Here are tonight's projected starting lineups:

Hornets Position Timberwolves
Kemba Walker PG Ricky Rubio
Nicolas Batum SG Andrew Wiggins
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Nemanja Bjelica
Marvin Williams PF Gorgui Dieng
Cody Zeller C Karl Anthony-Towns

Head coach Steve Clifford said before the game that Marvin Williams will be tasked with guarding Karl-Anthony Towns tonight. Williams has had success guarding Towns in the past, but the Hornets have struggled against him overall. The young superstar has averaged 23.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game in his two contests against the Hornets.

Andrew Wiggins is coming off of a 47-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers and is having his best season as a pro by far.

Needless to say, the Wolves are a dangerous team. Thankfully, the Hornets' experience should outlast the Wolves' raw talent.
