Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies gamethread

The Charlotte Hornets take on a hurt but dangerous Memphis Grizzlies team.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets take on an injured Memphis Grizzlies team tonight as they look to bounce back following a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Hornets have looked great early on this season and clearly they consider themselves one of the top teams in the NBA. If they're going to be that then they can't lose too many games like that. Tonight is one of those games they should win.

Here's what you need to know to tune in:

What: Hornets vs Grizzlies
When: Nov. 21, 2016 at 7 p.m.
Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC
TV: Fox Sports Southeast
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM

The Hornets will be without Jeremy Lamb or Cody Zeller tonight. Neither are expected to be out for much longer however. Chandler Parsons is also expected to not play tonight as he's dealing with a knee injury.

Here are tonight's projected starting lineups:

Hornets Position Grizzlies
Kemba Walker PG Mike Conley
Nicolas Batum SG Tony Allen
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF James Ennis
Marvin Williams PF JaMychal Green
Roy Hibbert C Marc Gasol

The Grizzlies are an interesting team, because they're largely still the same group that won 50 plus games a couple years ago, but the injuries definitely pile up on them. When healthy they're one of the toughest outs in the NBA on physicality alone.

Something to look out for tonight. Marc Gasol is shooting a ton of 3-pointers this season and Memphis may try to use this to pull Hibbert away from the rim. Definitely a matchup to keep an eye on.
