The Charlotte Hornets take on the New York Knicks tonight for the second game in a row. Both teams are on a back to back after playing each other last night in New York, but this time they're in Charlotte. The Hornets have very quietly fallen to one game above .500 so tonight is a game they really need to win.
Here's what you need to know to tune in:
What: Hornets vs Knicks
When: Nov. 26, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Spectrum Arena
TV: Fox Sports Southeeast, MSG Network
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
Well, the Hornets clean bill of health lasted a grand total of one game. Last night Marvin Williams banged knees which led to a hyperextension. He will likely not play tonight as a result.
Here are tonight's projected starting lineups:
Hornets | Position | Knicks |
Kemba Walker | PG | Derrick Rose |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Courtney Lee |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Carmelo Anthony |
Frank Kaminsky | PF | Kristaps Porzingis |
Cody Zeller | C | Joakim Noah |
Well tonight should be interesting. The Hornets have not fared well in this tough stretch of their schedule thanks to a mix of injuries and close losses. Now they have to go out there without a key piece to their roster in Marvin Williams. If Nicolas Batum, Kemba Walker, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are the core of the team then it is Williams that glues it all together. He will be missed.
The Hornets are only one game above .500 right now after their hot start so a win is definitely something they're looking forward to in order to right the ship.
