Another day, another game. I hope you survived the election last night.
The Charlotte Hornets (5-1) are at home taking on the Indiana Pacers (5-3) tonight. The Hornets begin a pretty tough stretch of games with tonight's matchup, with games against the Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies, and San Antonio Spurs within the next couple of weeks. A win tonight would be huge.
Here's what you need to know to tune in:
What: Hornets vs Jazz
When: Nov. 9, 2016 at 7 p.m.
Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC
TV: Fox Sports Southeast, NBA League Pass
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
Jeremy Lamb and Roy Hibbert are still out, though head coach Steve Clifford has indicated there's a good chance Hibbert plays against the Raptors on Friday. So that's good, I guess. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's back is still sore, but he is expected to play (and start) tonight.
The Jazz are without Alec Burks, Boris Diaw, and George Hill.
Here are tonight's projected starting lineups:
Hornets | Position | Jazz |
Kemba Walker | PG | Shelvin Mack |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Rodney Hood |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Gordon Hayward |
Marvin Williams | PF | Derrick Favors |
Cody Zeller | C | Rudy Gobert |
This will be quite the test for the Hornets' frontcourt, as Favors, Gobert, Trey Lyles, and Jeff Withey are very good young players. Also keep an eye on the matchup between Batum and Hayward.
