Charlotte Hornets vs Detroit Pistons GameThread

The Charlotte Hornets take on the Detroit Pistons tonight as they look to make up for last week's blowout loss.

The Charlotte Hornets look to make up for last week's schedule loss against the Detroit Pistons. They're finally fully healthy again, and with this one coming in a much less brutal part of the season this game feels a lot more winnable.

Here's what you need to know to tune in:

What: Hornets vs Pistons
When: Dec. 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Spectrum Center
TV: Fox Sports Southeast, Fox Sports Detroit
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM

Marvin Williams is listed as probable tonight which means he should be playing. Considering his value to the team it won't be surprising to see him right back in the starting lineup.

For the Pistons, Reggie Jackson recently returned from an injury that caused him to miss all of October and November. Now that he's returned the Pistons will surely be trying to work him back into game shape.

Here are tonight's projected starters:

Hornets Position Pistons
Kemba Walker PG Reggie Jackson
Nicolas Batum SG Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Tobias Harris
Marvin Williams PF Marcus Morris
Cody Zeller C Andre Drummond

Something to look out for tonight is the Drummond-Jackson pick and roll. That combo was one of the deadliest in the NBA last year forcing defenses into a choice of allowing Drummond to run free to the rim, or give Jackson an open shot. How the Hornets counter this could be what decides the game.
