It's time for the main event!

Peter Llewellyn-USA TODAY Sports

Fans got a nice refreshing beverage in the form of the Rising Stars challenge with rookies lack of defense and flurry of points preparing fans for the weekend. Then they got a delicious appetizer via All-Star Saturday night thanks to a surprisingly fun skill contest, some dramatics in the 3-point contest, and arguably the best dunk contest we've ever had.

With that it's time for the main course. The All-Star game is no short of narratives this year with it being Kobe Bryant's final All-Star weekend, Kyle Lowry ready to put on a show in front of the home crowd, and Steph Curry here to remind the world that he's the reigning MVP.

Of course, it's still going to be all entertainment until the final two minutes when pride takes over and there's a little bit of competition. Really, all we want from a game like this is some cool highlights and a few moments that we can remember for years to come.
