Charlotte Hornets vs Denver Nuggets GameThread

The Hornets are back at it tonight with a game against the Nuggets. Chat with other Hornets fans about the game in the comments below!

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets are 39-29 on the season and have won 17 of their last 21 games since defeating the Miami Heat on Thursday. Crazy, right? Who'd have thought this weird little roster would work out?

Tonight, the Hornets are taking on the Denver Nuggets. While the Nuggets did beat the Hornets back in January, but they're 28-41 overall. A combination of youth and injuries to key players has held the Nuggets back, with Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, and Emmanuel Mudiay all missing time at various points this year. They're certainly beatable, to say the least.

Tonight's projected starters: Kemba Walker, Courtney Lee, Nicolas Batum, Marvin Williams, Al Jefferson. Cody Zeller's listed as questionable for tonight's game, thanks to a contusion in his left leg. He might play, but it's not clear as I write this. Spencer Hawes is also questionable.

For the Nuggets, expect to see Mudiay, Gary Harris, Jakarr Sampson, Darrell Arthur, and Nikola Jokic in the starting lineup.

Anyway, grab your snacks and get to a TV. It's time for Hornets basketball!
