Charlotte Hornets at Detroit Pistons GameThread

A win against the Pistons tonight would give the Hornets the tiebreaker, which could come in handy if the two teams finish with the same record at the end of the season. Chat with other Hornets fans about the game in the comments below!

The Charlotte Hornets are up in Michigan tonight taking on the Detroit Pistons in what should be an exciting game. Youth and dynamism are abound.

If the Hornets win tonight, they get yet another tiebreaker over an Eastern Conference playoff team. With the middle of the East looking like it does (four teams are separated by just a game and a half), that could be important. The chances of the Hornets finishing the season with the same record as the Pistons is low, but it's possible, and you have to plan for possible.

Your starting lineup tonight, barring any unexpected announcements, is Kemba Walker, Courtney Lee, Nicolas Batum, Marvin Williams, and Cody Zeller. Williams is back from a sprained ankle.

For the Pistons, expect to see Reggie Jackson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tobias Harris, Marcus Morris, and Andre Drummond start the game.

Grab your snacks and get to a TV. It's time for Hornets basketball.
