It's not like there's anything going on tonight, right? Babies don't care about your timing! Charlotte Hornets wing Nicolas Batum's life changed forever (in a great way) early Friday morning, as he and his fiancé Aurelie welcomed their first son into the world. Little Ayden Richard was born around 1:30 a.m.

"Baby Bat," as his dad already nicknamed him, looks to be perfectly healthy, so congratulations to the Batum family! And while he might not have gotten a lot of sleep last night (a few hours, maximum, according to him), Nic has received clearance from Ayden's mom to play in tonight's game, so that's good too.
"When something like that happens, you forget about everything else... but I'm excited about this game tonight."
So are we, Nic. Let's get the win for Baby Bat (and earn that all-important nap on Sunday afternoon).
