It's happening. It's actually happening.

The Charlotte Hornets have a chance to close out the Miami Heat with a win in Game 6 tonight. It would be the first time the Hornets have been to the second round of the playoffs since 2002, which is even more impressive considering the team's only been to the playoffs three times since then. The city wants and needs this win, and it sounds like the boys in purple and teal are ready to wrap things up in the first round.

If you'd like to know how to watch tonight's game, we've got you covered.

Tonight's projected starters are Kemba Walker, Courtney Lee, Marvin Williams, Frank Kaminsky, and Al Jefferson. Spencer Hawes is out with an MCL injury, and Nicolas Batum, while he will play, is still recovering from an ankle injury and had a baby earlier today. I am already a fan of Baby Bat. It's possible Batum starts, forcing Kaminsky to the bench, but as of when this GameThread was written it's impossible to tell.

For the Heat, the regular group of Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson, Luol Deng, and Hassan Whiteside are expected to start.

Tip off is at 8 p.m.

Grab your snacks and get to a TV. It's time for Hornets basketball!
