Hornets debut Kemba Walker campaign for Most Improved Player

First, it was Big Al's Paint Co. Next came MKG Security. Now, it is #WinWithWalker.

Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets' creative team has come up with some pretty good campaigns to try and help their players win regular season honors. First, it was Big Al's Paint Co. to help Al Jefferson earn All-NBA honors. Last year, we were introduced to MKG Security as the Hornets tried to help Michael Kidd-Gilchrist earn All-Defensive honors and Defensive Player of the Year. This year, playing off the upcoming presidential election, the Hornets have given us #WinWithWalker in an attempt to help Kemba Walker earn the Most Improved Player award.

The Hornets launched the campaign with the website winwithwalker.us, which includes multiple videos (including the one shown above, which features cameos by Walker's teammates as, among other things, the French Ambassador to Buzz City, the owner of Big Al's Paint Co. and the Chief Defense Officer of MKG Security) and endorsements from the likes of Jeff van Gundy and Zach Lowe, as well as Walker's accomplishments, improvements and chances to win autographed #WinWithWalker gear.

Walker has earned every bit of praise he has received this season, as his refined jump shoot as turned his game and the Charlotte basketball franchise around. As the website notes, Walker is averaging career-highs in 13 different categories - including points per game (21.1), field goal percentage (42.9), 3-point percentage (37.5), free throw percentage (84.7), true shooting percentage (55.5) and effective field goal percentage (49.6).

So help spread the word - Charlotte, and the NBA as a whole, needs to #WinWithWalker.
