After mounting a failed comeback against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, the Charlotte Hornets (20-19) are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers (11-25) in the City of Brotherly Love. This is the easiest game the Hornets will play in a few weeks, and as they're approaching .500 -- not a good thing -- getting a win tonight is of paramount importance.
Luckily, some welcome names are returning from injury tonight. You can read our preview of tonight's game here.
Here's what you need to know to tune in:
What: Hornets at 76ers
When: Jan. 13, 2017 at 7 p.m.
Where: Wells Fargo Center, San Antonio, TX
TV: Fox Sports Southeast, NBA League Pass
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
Guys, I have some great news: Cody Zeller and Nicolas Batum are returning from injury tonight. Only Jeremy Lamb is out tonight as he deals with what the Hornets are calling "metatarsal inflammation". It doesn't sound serious and he's expected to be back soon. Ben Simmons, Jerryd Bayless, and Richaun Holmes are out for the 76ers.
Here are tonight's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | 76ers |
Kemba Walker | PG | Sergio Rodriguez |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Gerald Henderson |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Robert Covington |
