Monday Mourning Mailbag Ep. 21: Streaky Hornets

What accounts for the Hornets streaks? Jack Bedrosian answers your questions.

NBA: Brooklyn Nets at Charlotte Hornets Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

In the middle of the season anything can happen.

Rookies get good, vets get tired, stars get bored. At some point, everyone just looks towards the All-Star break to rest up and re-energize — very possibly why the Hornets have been particularly inconsistent as of late.

But I think it’s a change in skill sets. Having become an actually competent offensive team, Charlotte is dealing with a bit of the growing pains of balancing both sides of the floor.

As always, if you have a burning question you need answered, a keen comment that needs discussing, or just generally think all of us here are clueless and in desperate need of your Hornets and/or basketball expertise...
