The Charlotte Hornets welcome the Orlando Magic to the Spectrum Center this afternoon in the first game of a back-to-back. At 2-3 and without key players, the Hornets have exceeded expectations so far this season but with three of their next four games against some of the NBA's top teams, they can not and should not take this evening's game lightly.
Goes without saying, but.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM. You can read Laieke Abebe's preview of this afternoon's game here.
Here are tonight's projected starters.
Hornets | Position | Magic |
Kemba Walker | PG | D.J. Augustin |
Jeremy Lamb | SG | Terrence Ross |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Evan Fournier |
Marvin Williams | PF | Aaron Gordon |
Dwight Howard | C | Nikola Vucevic |
It looks like Cody Zeller's available tonight, though Frank Kaminsky is questionable with an undisclosed illness. Expect to see him join Nicolas Batum, Michael Carter-Williams, and Treveon Graham on the sidelines tonight. For the Magic, Elfrid Payton and Adreian Payne are out.
Sucks to see Payne out, but my eyes will be glued to Bismack Biyombo and Augustin anyway.
Tip-off's at 7 p.m. and you can chat with other fans in the comments below!
