Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Clippers GameThread

The Hornets have been awful lately but don't have time to sulk. They play the Clippers tonight in the second game of a back-to-back. Hop on down to the comments to chat about tonight's game.

How on earth did we get here?

The Charlotte Hornets (5-9) have lost six straight games, sliding them all the way down to the 13th spot in the Eastern Conference. They inexplicably lost to the Chicago Bulls (3-10) last night--one of the two teams doing worse than they are--despite a 47-point game from Kemba Walker.

But there's no time to dwell on their losses--the Hornets play the Los Angeles Clippers (5-9) tonight in the second game of a back-to-back. They're understandably exhausted so this could be a long night.

You can read Hunter Kuffel's preview of tonight's game here for more on what to expect against the Clippers.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are this evening's projected starters:

Hornets Position Clippers
Kemba Walker PG Austin Rivers
Nicolas Batum SG Sindarius Thornwell
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Wesley Johnson
Marvin Williams PF Blake Griffin
Dwight Howard C DeAndre Jordan

Kemba tweaked his left wrist in last night's game, but Hornets head coach Steve Clifford said he'll be playing tonight. Only Julyan Stone is out for the Hornets tonight. The Clippers don't have Patrick Beverley, Danilo Gallinari, or Milos Teodosic.

Let's get a W! Tip off is at 7:00 p.m. EST.
