Hey, Hornets fans!
First and foremost, I hope y'all enjoyed turkey day and paid some mind to Native American history yesterday. I also hope you didn't line up for Black Friday shopping, but hey, to each their own.
Let's get back to basketball.
The Charlotte Hornets (8-9) are on a three-game winning streak right now and have an opportunity to get back to .500 if they can beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (11-7) tonight. This little run (largely) coincided with the Hornets getting healthy and now, well, they're not. More on that below.
You can read Nick Denning's preview of tonight's game here.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Cavs |
Kemba Walker | PG | Jose Calderon |
Jeremy Lamb | SG | J.R. Smith |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | LeBron James |
Marvin Williams | PF | Jae Crowder |
Dwight Howard | C | Kevin Love |
So, some bad news. Nicolas Batum's out. He tweaked his elbow in Wednesday's game and the team's being cautious with him. Outside of him, only Julyan Stone is out for the Hornets tonight. For the Cavs, Derrick Rose, Isaiah Thomas, Tristan Thompson, and Iman Shumpert are out. The Cavs are weak, but they're still LeBron James.
Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. EST.
