The Charlotte Hornets (8-12) are down in Florida this evening taking on the Miami Heat (10-11) without a certain star point guard, casting doubt on the Hornets' ability to stop a three-game losing streak. These are Clifford's Hornets, however, so we can be sure they'll come to play.
You can read Evan Dyal's preview of tonight's game here.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Heat |
Michael Carter-Williams | PG | Goran Dragic |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Dion Waiters |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Josh Richardson |
Marvin Williams | PF | Justise Winslow |
Dwight Howard | C | Kelly Olynyk |
So Kemba Walker's still out. Not great. Jeremy Lamb's good to go, though, and the rest of the roster is healthy. For the Heat, Hassan Whiteside, Rodney McGruder, and Okaro White are out.
Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. EST.
