At this point I could recycle my ledes and no one would know any better. The Charlotte Hornets (9-16) are a hot mess right now.
Tonight, they play the Oklahoma City Thunder (12-13) on the road. The Thunder are underperforming right now, but they're still a force to be reckoned with by virtue of the star power that dominates their roster. On the bright side, Malik Monk might get some run tonight.
You can read Laieke Abebe's excellent preview of tonight's game here.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Thunder |
Kemba Walker | PG | Russell Westbrook |
Jeremy Lamb | SG | Andre Roberson |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Paul George |
Marvin Williams | PF | Carmelo Anthony |
Dwight Howard | C | Steven Adams |
Frank Kaminsky is expected back tonight! Unfortunately Nicolas Batum is out, as is Cody Zeller. George and Roberson are questionable for the Thunder but both participated in shootaround this morning so my money's on them playing.
Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. EST.
