After whooping the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, the Charlotte Hornets are back at it tonight against the Houston Rockets. The Hornets have been a miserable road team this season but beating the Thunder a couple of days ago has given me some optimism.
That said, this is the Rockets. They're scary good.
You can read Jonathan DeLong's preview of tonight's game here. It's excellent.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Rockets |
Kemba Walker | PG | Chris Paul |
Nicolas Batum | SG | James Harden |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Trevor Ariza |
Marvin Williams | PF | Ryan Anderson |
Dwight Howard | C | Clint Capela |
Batum was upgraded to probable earlier today so expect to see him in the starting lineup tonight. That means that only Cody Zeller will not suit up for the Hornets. For the Rockets, Troy Williams and Zhou Qi are out.
Tipoff is at 9:30 p.m. EST.
