The Charlotte Hornets can't seem to get it together. There's no obvious reason they're miserable--they're mostly healthy and individually the guys seem to be doing okay--and yet they've lost seven of their last 10 games and are just 4.5 games ahead of the 15th seed, the awful Atlanta Hawks.
Tonight, they play the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference and frankly appear to be equally talented to the Hornets on paper. But that hasn't been the case at all.
Let's see what happens.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Bucks |
Kemba Walker | PG | Eric Bledsoe |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Tony Snell |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Khris Middleton |
Marvin Williams | PF | Giannis Antetokounmpo |
Dwight Howard | C | John Henson |
Cody Zeller and Treveon Graham are out once again for the Hornets. Zeller's recovery is coming along well, however, so expect to see him getting some reps in practice in the next week or two. For the Bucks, Mirza Teletovic and Jabari Parker are out.
Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. EST.
