Charlotte Hornets at Golden State Warriors GameThread

New, comments

The Hornets play one of the NBA's historically great squads in a late game on the west coast. Hop on down to the comments to chat about tonight's game.

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets have been abysmal on the road this season, holding a record of 2-12 away from the Spectrum Center deep within their vest hoping knowledge of it can never be known by an outsider. Unfortunately for them, it's common knowledge, and perhaps worse, they play the Golden State Warriors tonight.

I'm not saying they can't beat the Warriors, but given their performances on the road and the disparity in talent, I'm leaning toward a loss tonight.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are this evening's projected starters:

Hornets Position Warriors
Kemba Walker PG Shaun Livingston
Nicolas Batum SG Klay Thompson
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Kevin Durant
Marvin Williams PF Draymond Green
Dwight Howard C Zaza Pachulia

Only Cody Zeller is out for the Hornets. Stephen Curry and Omri Casspi are out for the Dubs.

Tip-off is later than usual tonight--the game doesn't start until 10:30 p.m.. Thank goodness it's Friday, I guess.
