The Charlotte Hornets have been abysmal on the road this season, holding a record of 2-12 away from the Spectrum Center deep within their vest hoping knowledge of it can never be known by an outsider. Unfortunately for them, it's common knowledge, and perhaps worse, they play the Golden State Warriors tonight.
I'm not saying they can't beat the Warriors, but given their performances on the road and the disparity in talent, I'm leaning toward a loss tonight.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Warriors |
Kemba Walker | PG | Shaun Livingston |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Klay Thompson |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Kevin Durant |
Marvin Williams | PF | Draymond Green |
Dwight Howard | C | Zaza Pachulia |
Only Cody Zeller is out for the Hornets. Stephen Curry and Omri Casspi are out for the Dubs.
Tip-off is later than usual tonight--the game doesn't start until 10:30 p.m.. Thank goodness it's Friday, I guess.
